The Fifteen Dialogues of David Borden, composed for Bb Trumpet - Tenor Trombone duo, have become a modern classic in the years since their initial publication in 1962. Each Dialogue is a self standing work which can be performed in concert alone. Several Dialogues can be performed together to create a larger work. All 15 are challenging for both musicians, and often utilize mixed meters, moderately extreme range and tricky rhythms.
