Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus
  Maurerische Trauermusik, K.477 (Thurlow)

Translates to "Masonic Funeral Music." Written in 1785, about the same time as Marriage of Figaro, for the commemoration of two important Masons. This setting retains the solemn march feel of the original orchestration. Since Mozart always used the horn in his Masonic music, this setting features the horn in a melismatic part, with the trumpets playing the cantus firmus.
