20th Century. Captain Michael W Donovan is the Commander and Music Director of the 567th Air Force Band of Cape Cod. This fanfare was written for the composer's wedding and is a tonal piece at a bright tempo which increases in speed during the final 9 measures. This work also includes brief alternating lyrical sections, and a fugue which is initiated by the second trumpet. Trombone plays in tenor clef. Duration approx 1:25 minutes.
