Maganini, Quinto L'Apres-Midi d'une Demoiselle Crocodille 20th Century (1969). Translates to "Afternoon of a Lady Crocodile." For bassoon & piano but also performable by euphonium. This work is derived from two famous compositions, "Afternoon of a Fawn" by Debussy and "Liebestod" by Wagner. It creates the impression of the awkward crocodile trying to be romantic. - the composer/cdp
